That was one of those...doh! moments where I realized that I had blown it :) But thankfully it all worked out ok, and I now know every brown shade and it's number in the DMC color chart :)
Glad you found the right color Karyn. Last month I lost my last length of particular dye lot in silk - ended up finding it in the vacuum cleaner bag! I accidentally vacuumed it up. But it was none the worse for the wear afer I wiped it off with a damp paper towel LOL. Only a stitcher would understand.....
I don't feel so bad now! LOL I had part of a flower done from a couple of months ago. Last night I started back and used the color I *thought* was the one I was using. Turns out by looking at what I posted here that I was using is not the color I started using....go figure! But it looks the same to me lol I'll move on and see if I notice a difference later. Glad you figured out the color you were using.
